"Great location, friendly and very helpful staff, comfortable and clean beds. Sadly though this hotel is tired and desperately needs a full refurbishment. For £185 a night for a twin room you certainly need and expect a better overall standard. Although I might stay here again i woudnt recommend to others"

"From entering to exiting the hotel, the staff was very friendly, welcoming and the whole place was clean, nicely decorated, warm and welcoming too! The rooms were spotless, beds were very comfy. We had breakfast in the restaurant, the food was fresh, warm and the selection was amazing, catered for everyone including gluten free. The staff at breakfast were prompt, ensuring items were topped up when required and addressing customers concerns if they were any. "

"A much better hotel than the rating. A touch tired and the plumbing is noisy due to the age of the building, just needs a few floorboards raised to fix, but the bedrooms are very good. Breakfast was overpriced at £18.50 though and nothing outstanding."

"Our towels were replaced after one day. PLease could you use the THROW IN THE SHOWER/ BATH IF YOU NEED A REPLACEMENT policy to save such a lot of washing"

"The hosts were fabulous and ensured we had everything for a lovely relaxing get away. Whilst we shouldn’t need it in June, we used the log burner and hot tub. The bed was really comfy."

"Great pub in a quaint village within Scarborough near to all North Bay attractions. The rooms are all different, fitted out and decorated to a high quality standard. The pub area has a great atmosphere along with the dining areas. Food is of a very high quality and great portion sizes"
