"Great property after a recent renovation. Adjacent to a riverwalk and wetland area and the new Iowa River Landing area. Great food, fun shopping and the convention center is next door. Lovely stay with a great staff. "

"The front desk staff during the day and overnight are extremely friendly and accommodating. Some things seem a bit run down (broken gym equipment, out of order game room, pool/hot tub area) but the rooms, lobby, and breakfast area are very well kept. Only complaint about the room is the shower is strangely narrow, slippery, and a large step when you get out, exercise caution. We had a great breakfast one morning (female staff member) the next day, same breakfast offering, but the male staff member could not keep up with the small crowd and was rude to guests when they asked for items to be replenished. Location was close to lots of fast food and restaurants and right next to walmart when we forgot some items. Check in and out was seamless and the check out time was 12pm which seemed late and was perfect for the late starters. "

"My husband had to have a heart procedure done early in the morning, so we came the night prior. The staff was helpful, location was just a few minutes from hospital, rooms were spacious, we were given a late checkout and parking was right near our room. "

"I was worried when I first pulled up but in this situation you can not judge a book by its cover! The hotel its self looks like a basic banquet hall but as soon as you walk in you can feel the time they took to make it like a 1960/1970 hang out. It was well decorated, had multiple areas to play games or listen to records(yes I said records!), fire pit outside, and finally the best part of the hotel, the pool. It was extremely clean and the perfect temperature. We booked a room pool side so it even came with our own reserved table. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel!!!"

"The front desk at check in, on a really really busy weekend, was so great and so helpful, they assisted me with getting my other family members in a room next to us, so helpful. Property was clean and rooms were great. I wish they would add a little coffee place, that would have made it perfect. "
