"Guest house in a nice location, close to the sea. reception works a few hours a day. lucky that I arrived during the reception's working hours, (guests who arrived outside the reception's working hours were not in the apartments for long hours) the reception does not accept payment cards, I had to spend all my cash. the room is large, bright and with a balcony, the cleanliness is even better. the bed is big, comfortable, firm but squeaky. "Stayed here before and will certainly stay again. The best OYO I have ever used - often they are less than wonderful !! But although this Is not in totally prime condition, I have no real criticisms. Room / bed / shower were all good. The only niggle is the lack of a kettle & mugs - but that is not unusual in even 4* Thai hotels. Bar / coffee prices are VERY reasonable. "

"A great little hotel but without an elevator so be prepared for stairs if you end up in a room on the 4th. floor as I did. Luckily I was able to move to the 1st. floor within a few days. Unfortunately they could not supply a hotplate in my room so I could make my own espressos. Watch out for mosquitoes! The free water was a nice addition. The best part is the Dom Pizzaria out the front, which also has a range of Western dishes & breakfasts."

"Remote location outside Rayong, in the forest. You need a car to get here. Overall quite ok. They have built a number of new small houses, big space for a cheap price. Not good: Bathroom door is only 160-170cm high. I bang my head sooooo many times. They really should put in new doors. No cleaning! I stayed 1 week for some business in Rayong. "This is the second time that I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Pattaya. For those who wish to experience Pattaya's famous night life, the Holiday Inn Express is an excellent hotel for the following reasons: 1. The rooms are bright, clean, very modern, spacious and very well equipped. Each room has a safe, small fridge and complimentary toiletries. The pictures of the rooms which are available online are very accurate. 2. The showers are large and self-contained. 3. The common areas are modern and spotlessly clean. 4. The Wi-Fi is excellent. 5. The rooms are cleaned and the sheets and towels are replaced each day. 6. The daily breakfast, which is served between 6-10 am, is excellent. 7. The staff are friendly and helpful. 8. There are onsite laundry facilities which are very reasonably priced. 9. LK Metro is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Walking street is a short ride away on a 10 bath bus. However, for those travellers who wish to go to bed early or who wish to be close to the beach, the Holiday Inn Express is probably not a good choice. "
