"The staff were brilliant. Friendly, helpful and very welcoming. The hotel would benefit from an overall refurbishment, carpets and paintwork look quite worn. When we arrived finding the entrance to the car park proved quite challenging, maybe some directions to it on the website would help. The breakfast coffee was terrible however the food overall was better than expected, generally well cooked and tasty with some nice touches such as pea shoots and sliced chilli on the SE asian curry. "We had a lovely stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially James. The food was lovely, plenty of choice and well cooked. Our room was comfortable and reasonably spacious. The location is perfect for visiting the Castle Cathedral and the town. Brilliant that it has it's own car park. Only slight down point is the decor is a little tired in places and could do with a refresh. "

"When we arrived we were shown to our room our bags were taken upstairs for us which I thought was very nice, the room was nicely decorated, comfy beds and pillows our bathroom was very nice and spacious, we had a cooked breakfast which was cooked to perfection plenty of tea and coffee, I would definitely stay here again ⭐"
