"A lovely property, just as described with a great location, minutes from the beach, walks over the beautiful cliffs and the town, which has plenty of choice for places to eat. The property owner was instantly available by mobile phone, checking all was well and leaving ice cream in the freezer for us and fresh flowers. Certainly going the extra mile."

"A fantastic place to stay. The location was perfect, country walks from the doorstep and the coast 9 miles away. A small shop a few miles away and a pub within a mile. Woodpeckers is clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need. The enclosed garden was a bonus. Sitting in the conservatory looking across the countryside was calm and peaceful. Overall a great place. We would definitely return and recommend."

"If you want to get away from it all & enjoy the peace of the Sussex countryside the Cart Lodge is perfect. Great little cottage, which is well equipped & in a good location to explore East Sussex. "Cedar Lodge was exactly what we were looking for and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The accommodation was clean, cosy and very well equipped and the hosts Caroline and Neil were very welcoming. The comments in the visitors book showed that many people have visited here several times and feel it’s the best holiday home they have stayed in. The location is very quiet and the view from the deck is beautiful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we are visiting the area."
