Great clean hotel. A little further away from downtown Bologna than we thought. But only an easy 20 minute walk to central Bologna.

Beautiful conversion of former commercial building. All the bells and whistles. Large elegant room, great bed, state of the art HVAC, plush bathroom. The breakfast rooms and selections were as good as you will get. Do not miss a tour of University of Bologna (oldest in world). English speaking guide was top notch Music museum is excellent. Must get audio guide to appreciate it fully.

We loved this hotel! They have plenty of free parking, the staff was friendly and welcoming and the hotel was beautiful. The room was great, spacious, big soft comfortable bed, a great bathroom with nice big walkin shower. The wifi was also fast, we were able to video chat and stream with no issues on multiple devices. The room was comfortable and always super clean. Breakfast was great. I just did not like the smell of the room (air freshener?) it was very strong.

Everything was terrific. This hotel serves the city of Bologna. It provides a quiet and peaceful place to stay while still offering the beauty and tradition of downtown Bologna.

Súper helpful and friendly front desk staff and the breakfast was well beyond our expectations. Transportation was a little tough based on some current construction, but easily walkable. We’d stay again

Our stay at Grand Majestic exceeded all expectations. We were upgraded top a stunning suite, the bathrooms were huge, excellent shower, lovely bedding, attentive and helpful staff, and we had an amazing meal. We only intended to stay for one night, but extended our stay for a second night because we loved Bologna and were so pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We highly recommend!

This pleasant hotel occupies a former schoolhouse (hence the name), but it's thoroughly modern inside. Located in the countryside on the outskirts of Bologna. Good for those traveling by car, but you may need GPS to find it.

We drove from Montespertoli to Bologna. The hotel reception person (Erica) went above and beyond to help us with navigating with the car and parking as there are many restrictions for driving in Bologna. She was excellent! Grazie Mille, Erica!

The room, service, and location of this hotel were all perfect. It was walking distance to most of the major architectural attractions of Bologna, and surrounded by many fine restaurants. I only ate breakfast one morning, and it was OK. That would be my only slight ding - it was a bit expensive for what it was, and you can find similar food elsewhere that's better, for cheaper. But in the evening, while I didn't eat dinner there, I picked up a dessert the chef made for me that was delicious! The...

Great place to stay for one night. Car return located in the hotel. Cab arrived in two minutes for early morning departure. Staff was helpful and v professional.

Staff, room, facilities, restaurant, all 5's. Plus free parking, only 10 minutes to airport, and it's immediately off hiway to Firenze. 20 euro taxi to centro. Oh, yeah, the price is right.

Incredible grounds and facilities! The staff was wonderful, so warm, helpful and professional!! The breakfast, and restaurants were fantastic. We had an amazing stay for 5 nights. Honestly, I wish we could have had more time there, but our itinerary was already established. Honestly, can’t recommend highly enough!
