"The room is was a little dirty with fingernail clippings on the floor and used q tips left behind. Otherwise good. Maybe it was because we were in a pet friendly room but I wouldn’t walk on the carpets barefoot. The hotel itself hasn’t been updated in a while. The pool was out of towels both times we were down there. There is no slide, that was removed seemingly a while ago. The location is great and the service was also excellent. Everyone was very helpful. Didn’t eat at the restaurant but the coffee shop in the morning is convenient!"

"Good breakfast and welcoming staff. We had an event at the convention center and it was right across the street. We didn’t have to move the car or pay to park. "

"The historical and architectural features were beautiful. However, for a hotel of this caliber, the Housekeeping was dismal. Our first full day there, no one had come to clean the room by 4 PM, so I called the front desk and they told me they were all behind. Two hours later, knowing it’s still come, so I called and asked for towels at least. They did bring those. The next day I let them know that we weren’t thrilled that the housekeeper hadn’t come, and we had to clean the room light on the door. We got home at 5:30 in the evening and still no one had come to clean the room. I went down to the front desk and ask for a manager, and was told the manager was at lunch and they would call me when they returned. They never did, but about 6:30 PM. They sent a housekeeper to do the room. This is not something that I would expect when you pay this much for a hotel room and it is supposed to be a high caliber place to stay."

"Great service, friendly staff, convenient restaurant which made me a superb sandwich and serves Starbucks coffee. The room was very clean and quiet and I slept great in the bed. I'd stay here again without question. Just outside was the river trail with great river scenery, and a quarter mile or so to Riverfront Park and downtown. Also, the parking was generous and well lit."

"Clean room with comfortable beds. Hotel is in a convenient location. Front desk was super helpful to resolve our only issue for parking. At check in we weren't told we are automatically charged to park, so we paid for parking in the garage that was unable to be canceled. The young lady who assisted in the morning was helpful and removed the hotels parking fee to offset. Has a bar with restaurant on site that was open until midnight. They have a large selection for breakfast that is available to purchase and have a coffee shop on site."
