Thought i would just treat myself and was quite surprised at the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the food and the comfort of the room. The locals use the restaurant and it can be quite busy, so booking for a table can be a must (Fri & Sat evenings), but even then the friendliness of the locals is quite good. The evening “boards” you could order were delicious. But by far the best thing of all was Joyce and Gary’s warm hospitality. We want to return. "
