"The house was wonderful!! The location is amazing although our GPS said we had arrived well before we got to the top of the mountain. We enjoyed the house, the deck, the hot tub and all the wild life that we saw! John is very responsive and answers questions quickly! We would definitely come back!"

"This was a tough one to rate. There are a lot of positive parts to this rental. We loved the sunroom, the privacy, the quiet, the views, and the central access to Shenandoah county. However, there were a number of small issues that we struggled with. The overall cleanliness had some room for growth as there was a good amount of dust throughout the house (pretty thick is some spots like the ceiling fans, fake plants, etc.), the fridge had a filtered water jug that was was a bit dirty, the bathroom wasn't the cleanest, and the hot tub was pretty dirty with debris and hair and smelled a bit funky. As pets are allowed, the place smelled a bit like dog. The beds were soft, but one seemed like it was falling apart. At least one towel had holes in it. The dishwasher was broken too which really wasn't a big deal. Now we really did enjoy our stay, but felt that this place could use a little love.(Also, I don't know if it was just me and I missed something or misunderstood, but to get access to the welcome guide provided by the owner via their online check-in process we had to either pay 38 non refundable fee or pay 1000 which was refundable. That seemed odd.)"
