"My stay at Grand Resort Princess Arima was unforgettable! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care truly stood out—they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The level of hospitality here is exceptional and really made my experience special. The hotel itself is beautiful, set on a peaceful hillside with stunning views. It’s a great place to relax and take in the natural beauty. The food was another highlight—absolutely delicious and artfully prepared. I highly recommend booking the half board plan, as the meals are a true culinary experience. This is also a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in Japanese culture. From the traditional meals and serene onsen to the refined atmosphere and heartfelt service, everything reflects the spirit of Japan. The hotel offers a convenient shuttle bus (better to book in advance), and there’s even a swimming pool if you feel like taking a dip. The location is quiet and scenic—perfect for a peaceful getaway. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s not just a stay—it’s a cultural experience, made truly memorable by the warmth and hospitality of the staff. I would love to return!"

"The actual onsen within the resort was excellent especially the non circulating fresh hot spring option. The room given to us was huge and have access to the garden. There was an actual tatami section to sleep and a separate room with western style beddings. The washroom was ginormous including a classy jacuzzi. We had the breakfast option but it was decent at best. If you are looking for a flavorfull experience, you might be disappointed but the experience itself was excellent. As for food, options are limited around the area and in my opinion, not worth the value and they close early. Expect convenient store food if you are on a budget. The actual property itself is very beautiful and clean throughout. It’s absolutely tranquil. However, sound proofing is poor. If there are noisy walkers and talkers above your room, you will hear them. Overall, i will revisit as it offered my family some unforgettable memories. "

"This was the second time my husband and I stayed here but this time I brought my family and friends. 9 of us total. I communicated with Justin via email and he was so accommodating with my requests. It was even nicer that I got to meet him in person when we checked in. We love the private onsen in our room and that we can also reserve the public ones as well Atmosphere is so relaxing. So far we have gone to 4 or the 8 you can reserve so we will need to return again to try the others. I left my phone in the onsen and the gentleman ran back to get it for me. I'm sorry I didn't get his name but he is always smiling, tall and wears glasses. We opted for breakfast together and they gave us a private room with a beverage bar just for our group. Next time we will do kaiseki dinner there as everyone enjoyed the breakfast. Thank you for the great service from you staff! "

"I called them for shuttle service from the bus stop and they came to pick me up. They took me to the train station the next morning. Their telephone number should be listed in the website. I found it from the Japanese language site. This property’s Japanese name is Takayamasou Hanano."
