"The staff at the Riviera were amazing. We got to the hotel early after our long flight from the states and they got our rooms immediately allowing us to get a much needed nap. The views from the balcony were to die for. The perfect place for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. "
"We hiked Stoos and this was a great location. All the trail signs in the nearby hills were so lovely. Pricey to eat here, but that is all of Switzerland. A great stop! "

"We had a fabulous stay in the Stanserhorn Room from June 20 -25, 2025. The room was large, comfortable, with a balcony and spectacular lake views. The bathroom was modern. Staff was friendly and competent. Breakfast was decent, drinks were lovely, dinner was good too.
2 items for consideration:
- Please consider adding warm steel cut oats (preferably with milk and berries) to your breakfast offerings for those of us who are vegan / lacto-vegetarian.
- Please consider providing some sort of storage space in the shower area for additional toiletries and / or clothes.

"Nice old-style bed and restaurant hotel with a lovely staff that was very detail oriented during check-in. Felt very at home in the pub area and during meals.
Bedding was quite comfortable and peaceful. You will hear guests walking about the stairs and over your room with the older wooden build, but it was part of the charm in a way.
Dinner was very good and the morning breakfast spread is typical European flair and filled us up for the day.
Views of the mountainside were wonderful, TV selections vary in many different languages if you get stuck inside for a bit.
Small grocery store across the street and the Post Bus heading to Stans or Seelisberg picks up right in front of the hotel. Very convenient for hikers or if you want to take one of the few cable cars up the mountains."

"Our stay was perfect.Booking was easy, Chrisâ instructions clear as day and communicating with him was quick and friendly, the house is situated beautifully, it was spotless clean, and while it may look a bit outdated it has everything one need and more (sharp knives for instance, something lacking in lots of rentals we have visited over the years). Oh yeah, it was also very reasonably priced.All in all, a must-go-to if one wants to visit Emmetten and its (beautiful) surroundings."
