"It’s an older beach cottage with pretty much everything you need for a vacation at the beach, so you don’t need to bring anything but yourself and personal belongings. If something is not there, Jim gets it for you. He is a great host and very available to you as needed. The location is great for the beach and walkable to some shops and restaurants. A hot tub was just recently purchased on “our” back porch and is a great added feature to the stay. My husband who does not like noise was bothered by the renter above us walking about her place what seemed like stomping all hours of the day and night. However this was my oversight in not thinking about this when I booked the ground floor."

"We came in town for a funeral and with various family. So this house was a great solution. House was as described. Easy peasy! Kitchen was well equipped. Porches were enjoyed. Used grill. Dining area accommodated us all. Enjoyed being able to walk to various spots, including beach. "
"My stay on topsail Island would not have been as good or great without this motel. They surprised me at every turn. Manager was great! The location was perfect! Cost was wonderful To be only a block and a half from the ocean. Oh thank you very much! I will be back"

"This was the best rental experience I’ve ever had! Jim was so kind and provided so many extras that made our stay so easy! He was by far the best host which made the whole experience top notch. We just had to bring our personal stuff. It was nice to be able to use the house wagon, chairs, beach toys and so on. The house was super clean which is very impressive for a beach house! So many little things were thought of, like hooks in the shower for a wet swim suit or the bag of ice in the freezer already. The space was perfect for the 5 of us. And you can’t beat the beach access. It was just a house or two down for the access. So nice when you’re carrying all of the stuff for a day at the beach. We had a great day and we were so sad to have to leave. "

"We had a wonderful stay here during our Surf City vacation with friends. The house was clean and comfortable for adults and small kids. We loved the spacious upstairs living area and the location is amazing!! My only feedback is that the downstairs bunk bed room is a bit cramped for two kids with the basketball game. But it was very manageable. We would definitely come back!"
