"Booked Brook Hall for a stag weekend of 12 guys, which Edward was happy to accommodate. It was a fantastic base while we spent most of our time out and about in York (20 - 30 minutes away) and Leeds (30 - 40 minutes away). Thanks for the recommendation of Dougies taxis as well, this was really helpful and they were great with really friendly drivers. Lovely location and house, particularly the garden. "Can’t rate this place highly enough. From Jo who I dealt with when booking, she found and recommended this place as I’m disabled and it was perfect. Nice quiet location within an easy stretch of legs to the city centre. Everything inside top notch and big bathroom. I’ve stayed in about 8 places in York and this is my favourite one. Great week sad to be home. What a gem this place is."
