"We stayed for 12! Days it was so good. Beautiful property in the heart of North Yorkshire - amazing selection of breakfast. Clean rooms and family-run, friendly service.
Sometimes we had to ask repeatedly for clean towels - and we don’t change them everyday. Beds were old and could use updating for comfort.
Otherwise - would highly recommend! "
"Accomodation was perfect for us as we were travelling with our small dog. Excellent selection of coffee and teas in the room.
Staff were all really helpful and friendly. We had our evening meal in the hotel, whih was excellent, as was our breakfast the following morning.
Lovely town to stay in with plenty of pubs restaurants and bars.

"The building is beautiful. High ceilings and original fixtures make this a special place to stay. Located in a great location near to transport, shops, restaurants and bars. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Shannon and the other staff are friendly and efficient and made our stay enjoyable. Food was tasty in the restaurant. Breakfast in morning was good and again the staff serving were friendly. The room had everything we needed and a fantastic view of the town...
