"Terrible. No water, no plugs by the bed, a shower door that sounds like it’s going to fall over and break. This is a never been renovated Sofitel. Do not Stay here. Staff were completely blank. Could not even get a basic necessity like water delivered. Waited an hour and had to walk to reception. "

Super friendly, helpful and hard-working staff were an absolute pleasure to interact with and genuinely want you to have the best stay possible. Excellent customer service without being stuffy or fussy. Hotel itself is gorgeous and rooms are big, modern while retaining historic charm, comfy beds, all different country formats of plugs for your electronics and beautiful bathrooms with incredible soap/body wash/shampoo/conditioner. The warming towel rack is a fantastic bonus. Would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat without hesitation."

"The room was clean but very dated. Notable problems included a poor shower (the bath ran at the same time). The room had no opening windows, which made it stuffy and as the aircon didn't seem to cool, this didnt help. Also the aircon was load, making sleep difficult if you want air! We paid for the breakfast which was ok, seemed a little over priced as there was not much choices. The 2nd morning's breakfast was chaotic and we had to wait. Staff are friendly and helpful. "

"This hotel is short walk from Queensway underground, Hyde Park and Diana memorial Kensington castle across the street . lots of great eating places . It’s a short walk to Nottinghill . Our room was clean and very comfy and quiet . . We would stay again "

"Not my first time here, but happy to return again. As ever, the staff are absolutely lovely and some of the best in the business. I was greeted by Dhavani who was kind, accommodating and went out of her way to help me with a genuine warm smile and personality. The staff all seem to be encouraged to be themselves in a positive way, so it’s never a cookie-cutter experience here. It’s part of the reason I’m alway happy to come back. The hotel is a little older, so there is a slight shabby-chic feel, but it’s perfectly lovely to stay in. The bed and sheets are very comfy, and the rooms are warm and welcoming. Will happily stay again. "
