"Excellent overnight stay. Our room was much bigger and quieter than expected after reading some reviews. Main area had a comfy double bed with plenty of space around it, bedside units, long dressing table and large tv. There was a big dressing area with clothes storage and then a good size bathroom. Rain shower was centred in the bath so one could move freely under the powerful spray.
We ate in the restaurant and found the meals to be generous, tasty and very good value. Bar prices were also...
"My only complaint, about the whole experience, being that there wasn’t any facilities provided in the room for making tea or coffee. While a tea and coffee maker were available in the bar area, access was limited to the bar being open. Therefore between 11:00 pm and 08:00 am, one wasn’t able to access a hot drink? "
"Lovely bar, good atmosphere. Room not so good, smelt damp & awful smell in the bathroom from the drains. No evening meal as the gas was off.

"All staff were very friendly. The staff we had to interact with were efficient and polite. We had a family room and it was lovely, clean and the beds were very comfortable.
We also ate at the restaurant for dinner & breakfast the following morning. All was lovely, dinner was particularly tasty. "
