"Lovely spacious clean rooms, love the added privacy of the family toom have a separate 'room' with the additional beds in, had some issues using the smart functions on the tv as it wouldnt connect meaning i couldn't stream but still had access to regular prohraming so not the end of the world, and the heatint/copling system very welcome and impressive was a little confusing for me so a how to for idiots like me would be handy! "

"Our third time staying at this beautiful old hotel, the last time was six years ago. So pleased to be able to say that we were welcomed as warmly as we had been before. The hotel is very well kept, the staff are polite, friendly and efficient. The rooms are pristine and you can just tell that everyone working there values their guests. The Stables restaurant never fails to impress with its quality ingredients expertly cooked to provide mouth-watering delights. I missed the Beamish beers but the ones on sale were very good. This is the standard all hotels should aspire to. "
