"Super fun location, that made for a really fun 4th of July. Proximity to Fort Adams gave us the best vantage point for fireworks we could have had. House boat was very nicely made up for us, clean as could be. Comfortable bed, head was clean and functional. Water taxi was super convenient and easy to use, also allowed for awesome access to downtown Newport without needing to deal with cars or traffic. Fun to experience town from the perspective of a boater for once. Overall boat gave us...

The hotel was very clean and had great amenities. The staff was very professional and accommodating. We stayed here for parent's weekend at URI. The kitchenette in our room was convenient for any quick meals we needed to prep. Plus there was a grocery store and a Kohl's across the way in case we needed last minute items. The morning breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold dishes.
My only negative feedback that I have was that we could hear people walking around on the floor above us....

Probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. The gentleman at the front desk gave great local recommendations and made a personal connection as we were both heading to Bar Harbor the next day.
Breakfast was reasonably priced especially for having smoked salmon on the buffet to go on my bagel and even had capers. Staff at the restaurant was also great.

We easily found a parking spot which is awesome.
The room was clean enough. I was just hoping that there would be no carpet. :) but it’s clean enough.
Ms Cathy who was in the front desk showed us one of the best customer relations. She was helpful and quite informative. The pool just needed cleaning cause a lot of kids played in the water.

The Mill Street Inn was a unique spot with a great location, a few minutes walk to Bellevue or Thames Streets. Our room was more like a suite, had a separate living room and a bedroom. Amenities were great, and there was breakfast that you ordered the night before that they delivered at the time of your choosing. Staff couldn’t be friendlier, especially Lori who seemed to know everything about Newport as a lifelong resident. Would definitely go back!
