"A lovely hotel right on the sea front with excellent views across the bay. The hotel is conveniently situated for rail and bus links. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble for them. Recommend the superior privilege rooms at the front with sea view. There is parking at the hotel.This is our 4th stay at this hotel. "

"Hotel with a view. And what a view,so relaxing to watch the tide come and go from your comfy bedroom window is priceless. We did upgrade to a sea view room on the first floor, which contained all we expected. Very clean and comfortable. After a welcome drink in the bar we headed into the dinning room. This too had the same sea view from its panoramic large windows. Great food served quickly and hot by great staff. Parking on site was easy, very nice swimming pool. Our stay could not have been better. Thank you to everyone."

"A great stay The hotel is right on the sea front and 2 minutes walk to the town center and train station. All the stuff were very friendly and helpful. The reception and dining area is set out well and is very clean and spacious. The room was very clean and cleaned every day. The staff were not knocking your door at 9am to clean your room like in some places I've stayed. The shower room was a good size with a good amount of towels and clean. If you are going to Paignton and want to stay somewhere close to all the entertainment venues and beach this is the place for you."

"The hotel was good but the surrounding area is very run down with lots of begging in the streets. The facade of the hotel is not as depicted. The palms shown in the advertising are no longer there. Parking was in a local council car park which was understood, but parking was dearer than advised.. No street parking available other than metered. Torquay very run down and grubby."
