Needed an ace to stay one night while traveling. The hot was very accommodating for our late check in.

The only difficulty was for our room. It was on the second floor but the lift didn't actually go to the floor the room was on. It was a bit strange, so, after the first day, we avoided the lift for the rest of our stay. However, that was minor. In general, the room and the hotel were terrific. Customer was service was phenomenal and the breakfast was quite good. It was a comfortable and pleasant stay all around.

The room was clean and spacious. We got a very comfortable king size bed . The breakfast was phenomenal, options of hot hearty breakfast, pastries, fruits, etc.

The Globe is perfectly located in the middle of town within walking distance to shops and waterfront. They offered a great breakfast and dinner menu alongside a cozy pub atmosphere. Housekeeping was excellent and our room was perfectly clean and restocked when we came back every day! The Sticky Toffee Pudding was Amazing!

This is my second time staying here and I cannot recommend it enough! The included breakfast is delicious, and has vegan options that are filling. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The bar is lovely to hang out in at night. Easy walking distance to everything!

I stayed with my dog and it was fabulous. I would stay again.

This was a beautiful property and the hosts were excellent. I highly recommend staying here if you are down in this part of Devon.

Great hotel. Would definitely stay again.

We had been traveling for about 18 hours when we finally arrived at the hotel. We were treated warmly and our room was ready even though we were there before check-in time. The room had a view of the water, was very clean, had tea and coffee in the room, along with biscuit snacks. The bathroom had a lovely shower, however it was impossible to keep the water inside the shower due to its design. We enjoy a full English breakfast which was delicious and more than enough. Nice hotel being modernized. Wish our room had AC, but since it is not common to need not an issue. The other room of our party had AC. We did have a sea view.

It was a wonderful, yet too brief, one night stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Our meal in the informal dining/pub options was nourishing and delicious. The room was clean, large, and bright. We were able to get a room facing back garden and with views. A big pot of tea and a freshly pressed coffee were very nice at breakfast. Local walks on the moor, and to the quarry & rocks and were fab.

Fabulous old world charm amazing staff

The staff was very nice and helpful. So easy to get to from the train station. Clean and well appointed. We hope to be able to stay at Lyme Bay again. Felt like home.

Perfect place for a stay in Exeter. The room was tastefully decorated with a very comfy bed. Access was easy and location ideal.
