Breathtaking Views Near Lake Placid and Whiteface

"Absolutely perfect place to stay for a 3-generational family of 12. Immaculate, with plenty of space and amenities to accomodate all of us. Perfectly situated with stunning views of Whiteface Mountain and star-filled nightime skies, whether it be from the campfire, the deck, or the hot tub. The kid-friendly walk to the Ausable River was a hit, as was grilling marshmallows over the campfire. Highly recommended!"

"Perfect house for a multi-generational group getaway!We stayed here with a group of 8, spanning multiple generations, and this house could not have been a better fit. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and just as much space for all of us to gather together. We kept a puzzle going on the table all week, and the garage ping pong table quickly became a favorite spot for friendly competition. For anyone who wanted some quiet time instead, there were cozy little nooks perfect for tucking in with a book.The kitchen was a real highlight. It was spacious and had everything we needed to cook dinner for the whole group every single night. Outside, we loved gathering around the firepit in the evenings, and the outdoor table was great for meals in the fresh air.The location was wonderful too, close to everything we wanted to see and do. And Terry, the host, made everything even better. He checked in with us a few times just to make sure we had all we needed, which we really appreciated.We can't recommend this place enough for multi-generational trips or any large group looking for a home away from home!"

"This is a fantastic house for a family with kids. We loved the extra space for our small family. But - this is not a 5-bedroom house. Three bedrooms with Queen beds. Two full bads - on same floor next to the kitchen- bedroom/loft upstairs with no shower/tub- With Sink-toilet only. The loft had a futon. There was an unfinished basement with a futon and TV, and a futon in the living room, we did not need the extra beds- so I am not sure which futon opened up into a bed. Great has two showers and extra sink to get ready. The place is fantastic - very near everything we wanted and needed to do. Fully stocked kitchen- full size fridge (Greatly appreciated) and a fantastic BBQ with picnic tables and chairs outside. We could not use the fire pit because there were no matches to light the logs up with. and we kept forgetting to pick up on the way home. Locations for us was perfect. Long weekend summer trip- Wild Center/ Flume Gorge/ Whiteface Split rock waterfalls. Close to town and restaurants. It was quiet and convenient. Contacting for the alarms/door code was a bit confusing. We did book last minute, day before, so our fault also- but never got any responses from the owner. We were out hiking for the days, and reception was very shaking- had hard time reaching us. I also would have liked a desk for my computer to work. and also, some suggestions with local restaurants/ flyers for things to do- about the area. Highly recommend. would definitely stay again."

"This was our second time staying here and it worked out great. Our friend plays in the Lacrosse Tournament in Lake Placid each year so the location is a 15-20 minute drive to the fields and downtown Placid. Its a central location for the sights we like to see like the Summit at Whiteface, Jay Covered Bridge, John Brown Estate, Wilmington Park to launch our kayaks. Has a nice big yard. We have 2 dogs so bring portable fences to give them a contained space while we are there. Our one dog isn't good with other dogs so this is nice and private without off-leash dogs running around (which is a nightmare for us). Beds are comfortable and location is quiet. Would definitely stay again."

"We had a wonderful stay. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the entire experience seamless. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area!"
