"Do not book here. I am traveling back W with my recent college grad and this was going to be our first layover. I did one loop in the parking lot and left immediately. The fact that the majority of the residential blocks are burned out/boarded up brick row houses (even the church was boarded up and broken into) should be a clue. There were 6 cars in the parking lot, one of which was occupied by a dude using drugs. The ground floor room directly to the left of the main entrance had it's blinds half ripped down and twisted. There were two 2nd floor rooms with their streetside windows broken out. Two. READ THE GOOGLE REVIEWS: multiple reviews and photos of bedbugs and roaches."

"The rooms were clean but I am not satisfied with the check in process at this location. I stood in line for about one hour to get checked in only to be told that the room was not ready due to the Cardinals Cubs game making the hotel booked to capacity and the cleaning staff could not clean the rooms fast enough. We finally got a room after we went to the game which was at 6:15 pm. Even then it took about 15 minutes to get to the desk to check in. Our check in time was at 4:00 and we finally got into our room at about 9:00-9:30 pm. I’m sure there were at least 20 customers in line after me waiting for a room. At breakfast they ran out of juice and I saw no eggs. I did get coffee. I will never stay at this location again with that type of of service."

"It was an above average stay, the hotel was maintained. The pool was cold, great for summer. Breakfast was excellent and the staff for breakfast also great! No loyalty points were allowed as we had booked through an alternate booking site. That was disappointing. Overall we would stay again."

"This is the 2nd hotel that I stayed within one week that did not have hot tub or pool working. Had I know this would be out I would not have booked here. The outlets on lamps were all broken, remote could not change volume, the front desk staff was not present at check out and I waited for awhile at check in to find someone to check me in. I know it’s hard out here working in customer service and we are all stretched thin and we’re trying our best."

"Gorgeous, clean, unique, and within walking distance of everything fun! Valets were so helpful and friendly, right off the bat. They set an excellent first impression. The hotel alone provided a fantastic experience with the art exhibit and the main floor entertainment options. The gym area was the best we have ever seen at a hotel. We were so pleased with our stay and the affordability of it all! We can’t wait to book again."

"Well it was 6/10. The place is right in the middle of SLU and a great neighborhood. You could park for free and walk the 4 blocks but we took the chance and parked right in front of the hotel with like all big cities have sold their souls to parking companies for every usable space with 6 inches on all streets but I was Friday evening till Monday morning so 7 pm and all day Sunday free so I paid zero in parking. The place needed updating and deep cleaning with new furniture, lights in living room didn’t work as with ceiling fan but central hvac was ice cold.Bathroom very dated and needs an upgrade to the tub shower. But it was good and what we used it for as a night time crash place for us being out all day as they say “It will do”"
