"I had bedbugs in my room. The hotel handled it well by switching my room and ultimately moving me to the Plaza location, along with refunding my stay and parking fees. I'm waiting on reimbursement, offered by the manager Andrew R., for replacement luggage, medical care, and other expenses. Will update when that matter is resolved. Overall liked the hotel and amenities - the meal/snack offered daily was a nice way to save money on my trip. I didn't have time to enjoy the pool area but walking over it, appeared clean and functional."

"The West End hotel was wonderful. Parking felt safe & secure, the room was comfortable -- although the touch lamps were confusing - it would help if there was a sign explaining how they worked. I appreciated the two kitchens, which I didn't use much but had great resources. The hotel is in a great location, easy to get to Forest Grove Park and many of the St Louis sites. My only issues, and its one I've had with many other hotels, is the constant smell of pot that would show up in the hallways. It wasn't in the room and I know they are non-smoking, but the smell persisted."

"I loved my stay, but evidently this is in a relatively rough part of town. I didn’t realise that when I booked it so it’s probably not very good in terms of walking around, but I was just there for one quick overnight stay so it was lovely. In addition the restaurant was absolutely fantastic and worth going to! Quite a crowd and an amazing menu."

"We rented 2 rooms. They only had one room for my wife. And I and not for my son. And then when we had to take my son twenty minutes away, one way they charged us full price and said it was our fault.Because we were a walking at the pear tree.By the airport, the company was disgusting.Not the people"

"We plan this trip yearly for my husbands birthday trip to watch the Cardinals play. We always stay at this hotel and this year was the first that we were disappointed. We booked for 4 days 3 nights our room wasn’t cleaned once. We asked the front desk for towels Sat evening on Sunday there was a cleaning lady outside our room and we asked for sheets, towels and a tidy up. When we got back the room was not touched. No towels no sheets my husband went back down to the front desk and asked for towels. The gentleman stated they were out at the moment but took our room number down, we never got the towels."

"This was a last minute booking for me. We did not have a lot of options. When I got into my room, the bathroom light was not working. The bathroom fan would come on, but not the light. I called the front desk and they sent someone up to look at it. I was then told there was nothing they could do about it that night, and this was the last room that was available, so to either stay in the dark or leave. Since we did not have other options at the time we stayed. Also the carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed in awhile. The man at the front desk was very nice and offered some kind of compensation for the room because of the light. When I checked out the next morning and asked about the compensation I was told that he had emailed someone about the situation and I might get a partial refund or perhaps it could be a credit for another stay. He didn't know and didn't know how long it would take to receive information about it. Needless to say a credit will do me no good because I do not plan on staying again."
