"The location was great for a visit to Zoo marine. Parking was a bit of a challenge but the host helped us sort it out. The pool was great and the apartment was very nice. My only complaint is the sofa bed was not that comfortable, but we made it work."

The property is walking distance from the bus or train station. Old town is nearby. There are many restaurants nearby which is very convenient.
The property is very clean and modern. The room was spacious and the AC blows cold.
Communication with the host was excellent. Thanks to Claudia who welcomed and checked us in. Great service and allowed us to check in early.
Great place to stay is Faro. Highly recommend this place.

This was one of our favorite places that we stayed in Portugal. Placid Village was located in a quiet area, but only a 15 minute walk to the restaurants and beaches in town. Going back to the hotel was an uphill walk, but not too bad if you are in decent shape. In the evening we did Uber back. Did not cost much at all to Uber. We loved our rooms with a bath and a half, plus, a washing machine. The kitchen was great, but our favorite was the beautiful pool area. So quiet and enjoyable. We spent...

We were traveling as a family and this was a great place. Two bedrooms, living room, outside patio and a full kitchen and washing machine. Only stayed two nights but would definitely stay here again. Close to train and restaurants.

The room was great. Check in was slow, long line at a small property management office checking in multiple properties at once. It seems a simple key code would have skipped all that as my credit card info was already in the Hotels website.

The room was spacious and quiet. Staff was helpful. 10-15 min walk to Old Town and marina. Ours was a two-bedroom apartment located one city block from the check-in office, 3rd floor with no lift — fine for us but may not work for everyone.
