"The owner, Franco, is amazing. The instructions and information we received before arrival, check in process, recommendations of restaurants, arranging a van to take us to the station - all incredibly helpful. And even afterwards if you leave your passport behind...The villa is huge and the photos don't do it justice, Garden was dry when we were there in August (35 degrees every day) but the pool is large, cool and maintained almost every day. Plenty of sun loungers, outside tables and chairs for eating etc. Rooms are large, beds comfortable and bedding/towels etc all good quality. Pots, pans, glasses, crockery - everything is on hand.The location is perfect. Monte Carlo is on your doorstep - a beautiful ancient walled town on the hill - and great for great restaurants and bars. Marginone is less pretty but good for supplies and more restaurants, We only went to Altopascio for the big well stocked supermarkets but there is a lovely town centre with more bars and restaurants if you need a bigger selection. We had day trips to Pisa, Camaiore beach, Montecatini (via the Funicular) but most of the time lazed about at the villa.If you want a modern, pristine, perfectly presented villa, manicured lawn, luxury inside and out - this is NOT the place for you and the price reflects that.However, if you want a taste of authentic Tuscany hosted by one of the nicest guys you could meet (in what was his family home), then I would wholehearededly recommend."

"Les prestations étaient très bien et conformes à l'annonce.Le séjour sur le lieu était très agréable.Cependant les climatiseurs n'arrivaient pas à refroidir assez la température dans les chambres et la fontaine nécessiterait un gros entretien (et le tarif de la borne de recharge pour véhicule électrique est cher)."

"Superbe villa avec une piscine incroyable et une très belle vue sur la campagne ToscaneLes espaces extérieurs sont très agréables et prévus pour profiter de toutes les heures de la journée Cela a été dur de partir La maison appartenait à un ancien chanteur des années 60. Décoration particulière mais totalement à notre goût Nous avons passé une super semaine !La ville de Montecarlo dispose de plein de restaurants et celui des propriétaires de la villa est très bien Super accueil de Arianna avec qui les échanges ont été très fluides Je conseille d'aller acheter l'huile d'olive dans la boutique de la propriété. C'est la mieux notée de la région et juste à côté Pour que cela soit absolument parfait il faudrait juste qu'il y ait qques produits de base à disposition comme du sel ou du poivre que l'on ne prend pas avec soi quand on part en vacances Encore merci pour cette superbe semaine !On a déjà envie de réserver pour l'année prochaine !"

"This is the quirkiest hotel I have ever stayed in. It has the feel and decor of a 16th Century fortified town house combined with crazy art and ornaments. The staff were super helpful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Loved the honesty bar and the rooftop beer garden. Loads of great little shops and restaurants inside and outside the city walls and as ever friendly cats all over the place. Breakfast was great and you can help yourself to the homemade cakes, the real hit is the spinach quiche. Ssh it's a gem, don't tell everyone 😉"

"Ein ganz bezauberndes Appartement in einem 4er Reihenhaus. EG und OG dh. niemand mehr über einem. Der Poolbereich ist abgetrennt und auch sehr ruhig. Der Gastgeber Alessandro Calasso ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist im Grünen und doch ist man schnell überall zum Essen und Einkaufen.Florenz ist mit dem Zug ab Lucca gut erreichbar , Pisa geht mit dem PKW super. Montecarlo, Montecatini und Lucca sind sowieso nahe."
