Charming Farmhouse in a Tuscan landscape at walking distance from a village

Nice Family Stay

"Thank you Isa and Luana for being a great attentive host during our stay. We have been family of 4+5 on a week stay bank holiday May weekend. Overall it was a verynice stay with highlight of swimming pool, large green property, pizza oven, winter garden and comfortable lounge-kitchen area with multiple sleeping options. We had some roof issues during rainy days which have been resolved, also I would say to maybe include map to front entrance gate as it created a lot of challenges getting from back gate via google maps:) Also it is worth saying there is working farm next door so some noise during morning hrs are expirienced. Overall very nice stay with base for discovering northern tuscany and plenty of space for kids to use their energy and have fun. Best and many thanks"

Our time in Tuscany

"Our time in Tuscany was absolutely wonderful, Franco was such a great host, he had a snack and a beverage waiting for us and it was a pleasure to visit with him. The Villa was so wonderful and we all had a hard time leaving, the adorable little annex was my favourite. We had 4 couples and we each had our own little spaces with our own bathrooms. The pool was refreshing at the end of a hot day and the Restaraunts in Monte Carlo, San Salvatore and Marginone were spectacular. Absolutely loved our Villa, would love to stay again!! Also thankyou Marie at Tuscany retreats for all the arranging of the private Chef and car transfers, she was absolutely wonderful! Sabrina the private Chef and Lucca were wonderful people and the Dinner was amazing!"

Il Cavaliere - tuscan farmhouse with pool on the wine road of Montecarlo-Lucca

Wonderful agriturismo only a few minutes walk from beautiful Montecarlo

"This property honestly exceeded our expectations. Fantastic facilities, lovely shared pool with specially assigned seating for only a few other guests. All the staff we dealt with were super helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our wine and olive oil tasting with Erika. The restaurant associated with the property - Osteria del Vecchio Olivo is authentic and good value. Only a 5 minute walk up the hill to picturesque Montecarlo which has lots of good restaurants. Thoroughly recommend this family run agriturismo!"

Tuscan style villa with swimming pool ideal for families and large groups

Quiet, Spacious and Private

"We enjoyed our stay at this large home in the countryside between Altopascio and Montecarlo. The common rooms are spacious and easily accommodated family meals for our party of ten. The kitchen was large and contained everything that we needs for big meals. The bedrooms were comfortable and had space for many more guests. The location is perfect, being close to basic needs and good dining in Altopascio and wonderful views and even better restaurants in Montecarlo. You'll be close the Lucca, which should not be missed, and less than an hour from Florence and Pisa. The property is quiet and remote. You won't see neighbors or have to worry about privacy. Your host communicates easily in Italian, but less fluidly in English. I you do not know Italian, using a translator to communicate in his native language will greatly ease your conversation."

"Lovely property that we stayed for one night. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was superb and helped us cool down and relax after a long day travelling. Breakfast was really good the next morning and served with some locally produced goods. Great place to stay. Exactly as advertised. "
