"Staff a little inexperienced and robotic. No chef at breakfast, so a reduced menu. Food mediocre, badly cooked. This area needs serious attention. Only 1 out of 10 specials available at dinner. Annex room #32 suitable for guests with a disability, bathroom enormous but very spartan, some guests might object, but we were only there for 1 night. Hotel should provide a refund for not providing a cooked breakfast option. A sausage on dry bread doesn't cut it! No milk in room. T. Austin"

"We did enjoy our stay at the Cromwell. The staff were all lovely, the rooms are clean, however they are a bit dated and need a bit of TLC. We chose this place as it is not far from Upton Hall and just of the M40. Unfortunately the rain meant we didn't get chance to have a look round the area. "

"Easy to find & park, lovely accommodation, clean comfortable rooms, friendly efficient staff, good prices in the bar (had very nice pie & chips) & fab choice of great food at breakfast. Highly recommended!"

"Lady at breakfast made the stay exceptional. Wonderfully friendly, interesting and informative. Great breakfast. What wasn't great was the noise travel from what sounded like macerator flushing from rooms above or nearby, and no bottles of water left in the room."

"The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable clean with all you might need on your stay. It definitely couldn’t be in a better position for sightseeing and visiting all the attractions. "
