10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful hotel, well-located for our activities, especially restaurants. The champagne reception each evening was both unexpected and well appreciated."

8/10 Good

"Thanks to Expedia we had great deal for a 2 night stay in the villas away from the main hotel on the seafront overlooking the beautiful bay. Unfortunately the villa my sister was allocated was poky and completely in the shade under a big tree but the friendly helpful Reception staff were able to relocate her 1 villa away from mine. However, we were very disappointed with Breakfast facilities. Given the excellent position of the hotel, we would have expected to have an option to eat outside or at least with a good view but there were no windows. When we arrived for breakfast at 8am, most of the food had been taken by the big coach parties. Almost no fresh fruit and even the tinned fruit was not replaced. The fruit juice was heavily watered down & revolting. It was almost impossible to find spoons & teaspoons. The staff were very unhelpful & some of them quite rude. However, the scrambled eggs were very good & freshly replaced. You do need a taxi (don’t use Rosario he may be friendly but totally ripped us off in his battered old van!) or car to get to the little port where the cafes & restaurants are."

10/10 Excellent

"The room was spacious with comfortable beds. The staff were generally helpful and the breakfast options were adequate. There was plenty of places to sit, although we did visit in early October and I can imagine it getting very busy. The hotel is situated at the end of a busy road with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The main sites are at the other end of road, but it’s just a 20-30 minutes’ walk to reach them. Overall, I found the hotel a good place to base ourselves to explore Palermo."

Mercure Hotel Palermo Centro

10/10 Excellent

"We were given a room in a property over the road from the hotel ( not the annex ) very spacious and quiet. Paid 30 euros per night for underground car parking and there were plenty of spaces and also big enough as well. We reserved with the hotel first Breakfast was average , not much fruit or cereal choice"
