Greeted warmly and professionally. Every need attended to immediately upon request - staff superb. Room divine - with fabulous views of Ponte Vecchio and Pitti Palace/Biboli Gardens. Portrait creates the perfect Florence experience!

Staff incredibly helpful and accommodating. Gave excellent restaurant recommendations. Free breakfast offered a delicious array of dishes

If you are planning to visit Florence, this is the hotel you should book! It won't let you down. Your Florence stay will be brilliant and memorable. I booked this hotel after read someone's comment. As I learned, the location is a bit far from the center of city. Even so, it is still worth to stay at this hotel. If you take a taxi, it costs 10 euro from/to hotel approxilately. For money savers, taking a bus #14 just for 2 euro may be suitable. The bus stop for #14 is only 2 blocks walk...

A beautiful hotel located at the heart of the city. Staff are super friendly. A truly relaxing atmosphere. Stayed in the superior room 3rd floor. Very quiet. Spa is nice. Good breakfast.

Excellent location

I cant say enough about the hotel! When we arrived in a taxi we did not realize the taxi did not accept credit cards. We were a bit stressed as we had just traveled over 15 hours. Imran, the doorman came to our rescue and without any effort on our part, pulled out his wallet and paid for our taxi. We then exchanged cash in the hotel and promptly repaid him. Check in was prompt and professional. The room was outstanding! Clean, elegant, stocked with everything and more we would need and just...

Beautiful grand old hotel with high ceilings and wonderful frescoes in the room. When you wake up, it feels like you are living in the time of the Medici. The bathroom has no tub but the shower has 3 different heads with incredible power. You will not be disappointed if the strength of the shower is important to you. The blow dryer is terrible! Service is awesome! The food is the best in Florence! Dinner and breakfast.

It was the second time for me and my husband to stay at the 25 hours hotel. We love it, it’s a unique hotel

Kiara was wonderful from start to finish. The staff are welcoming and so very cordial. She even upgraded my room. The property itself is gorgeous with lots of space. I appreciated the unique touches of this property. Breakfast was also very nice to have in their restaurant which has a very lovely skylight, perfect way to spend a slow morning on vacation. Thank you, Hoxton I am a loyal fan.

Very nice staff! Close to everything! Walking distance from train station. Good value for the cost!

It is a smart choice if you want to be near by and feel like you are in a highend boutique hotel.

Classic, beautiful hotel originally a monastery in the 1300's. Staff is exceptional and rooftop restaurant and bar offer impressive views. Only negative is some of the bathroom showers are combined with the bathtub, due to modernization limitations to a historic building.

That property was safe, and the rooms were very clean, the guys that work at desk were extremely helpful to book taxis, reservations, or any else that you needed. They would tidy up the room daily. There are no amenities whatsoever, so do not expect that. It is a great place to lay your head down at night to beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean but extremely small do not look for ice machine or anything else. They did however, provide water for the room daily, which was very nice. So like I...

Nice location, few steps from Ponte vecchio and all shopping areas.

Like the location and friendly service!

Stayed for 4 nights. New hotel, modern and clean. A very good value. Very quiet rooms. Hotel is a very short, very easy walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station, even with luggage in tow. It is a nice 10 minute stroll from the Mercure to the Duomo. A few minutes further to either the Uffizi or the Accadamia. Never needed a taxi. The Firenze card was very helpful in both: a) avoiding the museum lines and b) being able to show up when you want versus a specific time. They're...

The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and genuine. The rooms and bathrooms were attractive and clean. We loved the easy location to town and all the complimentary food (scrumptious breakfast, late afternoon appetizers and then evening cookies!! Wonderful!
