"The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows. Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill. "we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall. Would come...

"Leaving aside the novelty value, this is an excellent hotel. Superbly appointed room with excellent bathroom and everything works perfectly: near-silent but efficient climate control, faultless WiFi connectivity and TV casting. The restaurant is a treat, creative and beautifully presented menu choices and fabulous breakfast choices. Most of all the staff made the visit special; attentive, warm, courteous and helpful. Superb, thank you. "

"Lovely 4 night stay, very dog friendly and they even upgraded our room. Breakfast was fantastic, absolutely will stay here again as it’s a good gateway for the part of Cornwall we love the best. Staff very friendly, our room was well equipped with tea, coffee etc. towels were good quality and fluffy. I have absolutely no complaints at all."

"We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express at Victoria Junction as it was conveniently next to the A30 and our destination in Cornwall. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly from the check-in to our departure. The hotel was clean and modern with comfortable rooms. The breakfast was Plentiful and filling in a very welcoming dining area. A lovely stay with friendly and helpful staff. Will definately stay again. "

"An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months"

"Beautifully finished apartment and to a high standard. The bed was lovely and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating on what was a very busy evening for them. Food was lovely and presented well, amazing coffee too. Location was great just what we needed for our trip."
