"Such a lovely house, and a great location for walking to restaurants, book stores, local theaters, and more. The Parlour was a quiet spot for meditation or yoga, and for people-watching in front of the library across the street. Many thanks to Griffin for getting the gas fireplace up and running. We enjoyed meeting Griffin, Carley, and Wayne. Everyone was so hospitable."

"The hotel lobby is beautiful! The record players in each room and vinyls scattered around the hotel are a very unique touch! However, the king bed was much higher on the edges and forced you to move towards the middle of the bed which was sunken in. The coffee maker did not work well and when I made a cup of coffee it was full of grounds. We asked for a tea kettle to make hot water for tea and the front desk said it would be delivered but it never was. The shower head wasn’t great either. My expectations for a hotel of this caliber were much higher. It was very clean and the staff were very nice. Overall it was a decent stay but I was hoping it would be better. "

"I was very disappointed to find out the pool and hot tub were closed and there was NO breakfast. Coffee only. The place was very clean and the staff was amazing. I would stay here again, but only when the contruction is done. "
