"The room and common areas were very clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Earplugs were provided by the bed but it was a quiet night and we did not need them. The one thing that disappointed us is there was only one chair in the room. Would have been nice to have a place for both of us to sit. It was very nice to be able to park there and walk the town without moving the car!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Buxton. The staff are amazing. The location's proximity to CSU and Old Town Fort Collins make it ideal for a FoCo stay. While some things, like an in room refrigerator might be an issue for some, the other amenities more than make up for it. We enjoyed trying the red light mask and the Vegas nerve stimulator, and if things like the pink and black decor don't tell you all you need to know about the vibe, these might. What they've done to renovate this older motel is simply superb. The grounds and room were spotless. The morning coffee in the lobby was better than most other places we've stayed. The staff went above and beyond. We live local and we will certainly come back for another staycation in the future."

"What a great neighborhood - lots of people walking their dogs, quiet, walked to cafes, old town, cute homes, The house itself is comfortable - we sat on the front porch almost every morning. Kitchen was stocked so we made dinner one evening. Only driveway parking for guests - the driveway is narrow, but we were able to park a Suburban & a Crosstrek without blocking the sidewalk."

"We loved staying here. The location was great. The only negative is that the living room is very small. There were three of us staying there and when my son came over to visit with us, four of us in the living room was not very comfortable. We had to pull in a chair from another room. But, they did have other chairs, so it worked out. We really enjoyed it and we were super glad for the designated parking. We loved the outdoor spaces on the balcony and the backyard. The communication with the hosts was excellent. Extremely prompt replies. We did not use the stove at all, so I can’t comment on that. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for the takeout food we ordered. For the hosts: 1) some bulbs are out in the kitchen. 2). The living room lamp went off, randomly, by itself once, 3). I recommend more hooks or shelves in the bathroom. It was all very manageable. These are just convenience recommendations."

"It was a great location! The property was clean and ready on-time. What a fun town. We were close to Old Town. Don’t miss the farmers market. We ate lots of goodies and ate ice cream. It was made to order.Note, the parking in front is limited to 2 hours during the week. So, use the alley long term."
