The cottage was really cute and clean. Plenty of towels. My daughter kept in touch with the staff for me. It did have a fireplace which was not needed for our stay but fall hit soon after we left. There was not a kitchen but did have a mini fridge and microwave. We spent time at Fort Davis National Historic Site, Balmorhea State Park, actually saw the Marfa lights, and the McDonald Observatory. Definitely recommend!

We stayed for three nights. I am not going to lie, I was a little anxious about this one but it fit our budget so we gave it a try. So glad we did as it was wonderful! It was our first B&B type of experience. The strangeness of roaming around someone else's home was short lived, sharing a bathroom was no problem at all, and sitting down to breakfast with all the other guests turned out to be so much fun! We loved our stay at Fort Davis Drug Store. The room was very clean and well maintained and the shared spaces were very unique! We had a lot of fun checking out all of the games (pool, checkers, foosball, etc.) and spending time downstairs. Fort Davis was a fun town and everyone was very friendly. I would recommend this location a thousand times over for anyone looking to stay in the area.

The Lincoln Marfa is an inviting property with charming amenities and centrally located to many galleries, restaurants and cafes. Highly recommend The Lincoln while in Marfa! Staff is friendly and accommodating.

I was deciding between Hotel Saint George and Hotel Paisano and I’m so glad I chose Hotel St George! It’s clean, modern, fresh. Great location walking distance to galleries and restaurants (we enjoyed Margaret’s for dinner). But what makes it so special is the art! Great stay! We got in very very late and they still had our room keys waiting for us with no hassle. Super easy check-in and check-out, very friendly owners. Clean and quiet. We had no issues with neighbors, no parking issues, no issues whatsoever.

We drove into town through dense fog. This was a safe haven. Staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was awesome. The only drawback was of all the TV channels available we could find none with US news and local weather. The news was available in the breakfast room. The WiFi connected in the evening, but not in the morning. Overall a good stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Seems like an old 50's motel (and in some ways it is), but overall a nice attempt to keep the rooms updated and clean. Great courtyard for guests to relax and socialize that is not viewable from street traffic. Staff was very polite and helpful with check-in and any assistance we needed. Would stay here again and would recommend to you, friends, and family.

Staff upgraded our room. It was huge which allowed us to bring our bicycles in (Ft. Davis CycleFest) without tripping over them all the time. We arrived very late, but everything was in order. We slept late and only had a few minutes before breakfast ended. However, staff accommodated us and we ate a great, HOT breakfast. This motel was a great value. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here in Alpine because I was visiting Marfa & there aren't many available/affordable places to stay there. Staff was very friendly & nice! Good value for the money & a good location close to everything. Wi-Fi worked well, which is important on a vacation! They offer free breakfast or a discount on a meal at Penny's Diner next door, which is open 24 hours. 4 stars for amenities only because there's no pool. Everything else was great & I would stay here again!
