Awsome mountain view, and very private

Our house is on the top of the mountain ,with a 180 degree view in spring and summer. The view is 360 degree in Fall and Winter. You can sit on the pouch and watch the sun set behind the mountain feeling the cool breeze drinking your favorite drink. Come sit by the fire after dark making somore's, telling stories of days gone bye or even a ghost story or two. This is your get away when you want to leave the hustle and busyness of this world, for the quiet and peace our mountain retreat will give you. If a little adventure is in your plans we are located within an hour of White water Rafting, Zip lining, tubing. There is enough fresh water around so fishing is abundant if that is your thing, there are mountains trails for hiking are also plentiful.

Peaceful Place

We enjoyed our stay at Peek A Boo Bear Cottage very much. The house was comfortable and cozy and provided everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time in the area. The mountain view was spectacular and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful.

Wow, this place was just what we hoped for in a mountain vacation. Gorgeous views, end-of-road privacy, silence, except for woodpeckers, bugs, the creek in the valley and other nature sounds. And the house was so tastefully decorated, clean, and nicely furnished. We never even left the house during our stay. Just sat on the porch and watched thunderstorms roll over the mountains, fog drift through the valleys, and sunlight dance on the ridges. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Next time we will have to come for longer. Such a special place.

Great views, very private

Very nice house. Located on top of a mountain . Beautiful views of the area. Owners were very easy to work with. Would definitely recommend this as a rental.

We so enjoyed our stay at your home , everything was perfect . Comfortable beds awesome soft sheets nice bathrooms with all we needed. And the quietness on top of the mountain was so needed. Beautiful views !! We hope to stay in your home again soon .

What a View

A long winding drive up the mountain, but worth the drive once you get to the top! We spent 10 nights here and loved each one! Hated to leave, but we enjoyed our time and the memories made here. Beautiful place and views are fantastic. As others have said, pictures don't truly show the beauty of this place. Loved every minute here!

Beautiful property!

The pictures don’t do their justice on just how breathtaking the views from the property are! A very beautiful house that’s very secluded and private, with an amazing view of the mountains! Very happy with the stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice getaway with a great view.

Beautiful home.

Beautifully kept home clean and well equipped. View is lovely, outside amenities are great we enjoyed the fire pit and the grill was a five burner cast iron with a gas burner on the side. We’re able to cook everything. Would likely rent again.

This is our second time staying at this amazing mountain home. We Love It! The views are amazing. We spent every morning and evening on the porch admiring the beauty. This home is clean and well appointed. A perfect getaway destination. We are already looking forward to next year!!

Awesome Experience

The view is even better than the photos. We spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying the changing light and leaves. The night sky was incredible. We've rarely seen that many stars. The house was spacious and clean. Again, awesome experience.

Beautiful stay

Was a gorgeous view picture didnt do it justice, house was clean and stocked. Only things, ground floor shower didnt seem to get hot water. Front door deck seemed to have a few hives. One in the fan/lamp, lots of bees burrowing in hanging bench. Few in corner. Made it a bit harder to enjoy during day.

Totally enjoyed every minute of my stay at this beautiful property. Very clean, well equipped kitchen, nicely furnished and decorated. Mountain stay

Although the drive to the house was a bit of a challenge, the place was definitely worth it!! It was clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. But it was the view from the porch that was the star..just breathtaking! I would definitely stay there again! It would have been helpful to have a couple signs along the gravel road pointing in the right direction as there were several other driveways.

Fantastic Getaway Property

What a beautiful place to getaway! The views are stunning. We spent every morning and evening on the porch watching mountain vistas change before our eyes. Our 2nd visit

My wife and enjoyed our stay last year so much we came back! This is a beautiful place to relax. Every thing is first class. My favorite things about this cabin are the view from the front porch and the driveway up the mountain.

Beautiful and relaxing view 😎

We wanted to get away with a view of the Smoky Mountains, quietness and to have our privacy. And this was the perfect place!! The house was clean and and more then what we had expected. Sitting on the porch just taking in the beauty of the mountains, watching the clouds coming in, listening to the water down below or just watching the sun set was just so relaxing 😌 Would love to go back in the fall with the changing of the leaves!

Mountain Retreat

Quiet, private, isolated but close enough to town. Loved the view and nature while on the front porch. Very comfortable accommodation, beds and living room. We brought our firestick for the tv and the satellite internet proved able with no issues even on a rainy day. The owner is very accessible and responsive. The gravel road up can be a little daunting but our front wheel drive sedan had no trouble even when the drive was wet. It is also good for a relaxing walk. Thank you Bruce for a super stay!

Year end recharge and next year planning

Every year my wife and I go away for 3-4 days at the end of the year to reflect on the year ending and to plan on the year coming. This is a perfect place for that contemplation. I would repeat everything in the previous views - beautiful, isolated loaction, expansive hillside views, well equipped and spotlessly clean. My only suggestion for an improvement would be the showers - downstairs temperature control is tricky, and upstairs flow is poor - but both are workable. For those that like eating out, make sure you go to Cafe Rel in Franklin- it looks out of place at the Hot Spot gas station but looks can be deceptive - food is fabulous but no reservations and its cash only.

Great Smoky Mtn RR weekend.

We planned a RR trip in Bryson City and wanted to find a cabin for the weekend. The photos of the view is what caught my attention. The photos don’t do the view justice. The house is beautiful too. The owners provided everything you could need. If you want to get away from everything this is the perfect place. You only hear nature. You don’t have other homes near you. You are alone with God on top of the mountain. Watching the sun rise and set provide wonderful views that constantly change. Watching the fog move through the mountains will amaze you. We would love to return and spend more time relaxing and enjoying time together. We recommend staying here and riding the GSMR. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.
