"I can't say we were surprised, because the listing details and photos for this home are very accurate--- but we were all pleasantly pleased when everything was even nicer than we anticipated. The location is fantastic. Close enough to town to make quick trips for food or supplies, but nestled away on a quiet dead end road with nothing else in sight. All the Black Hills sites are within easy driving distance, and our group of 4 (ages 64-77) thoroughly enjoyed being able to relax in our comfy cabin after a day of touring. Not one negative about the entire experience."

"We had a great time and enjoyed the area. Location is close to all of the Black Hills attraction. The hosts made sure we had everything we would need for our stay. We realized on the road home that we had left an item behind. We let Brett and Lori know and they found the item and made sure it made its way back to us. Thank you for a great stay!"

"This property was just what we were looking for. The view out the living room window was breath taking. This cabin was nestled on a couple of acres near town. There was plenty of wildlife to watch each morning and to have the view of the mountains was incredible. I spent a couple of mornings enjoying a cup of coffee on the front porch watching the sunrise. It was nice to have a cabin centrally located to neighboring attractions."

"Papa's Place is stunning! It is our new home away from home with gorgeous views. The house is very comfortable and spacious with ALL of the extra amenities you could think of and then some. There was space for everyone and all the things they brought. We appreciated the details, love, and care put into this place. It truly is a place one can relax and not worry about anything! Two kitchens and laundry rooms made it a breeze to keep everyone full and clean! We enjoyed the board games, game room area and cool kids closet! We reveled in the gorgeous cool weather and the last day a light snow dusting! Lots of lawn space for kids to enjoy and watch the bunnies hop around. Location is close to great food and activities are within short distances. Mt. Rushmore, Needle Highway, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse and Mammoth site are 30-45 minutes away and Devil's Tower and Badlands National Park are about two hours either direction. The drives to and from are gorgeous! We will definitely be back to this beautiful place soon. Thank you to the hosts who were amazing and responsive! I just can't say enough about Papa's Place!"
