Secluded Setting On French Creek In The Southern Black Hills
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay was wonderful! We loved the location of this house. It was a great location for visiting all the parks. We especially enjoyed Custer State Park where we saw a lot of wildlife; bighorn sheep, bison, turkeys, burros, deer and prairie dogs. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. We appreciated the welcome basket with wine and snacks. The yard was so peaceful with the stream and the deer that stopped by in the morning and evening. We enjoyed grilling and the fire pit.The house was very clean. The beds were very comfortable.Todd was very helpful, answering all of our questions and providing insights about the area. Based on his recommendation, we ate lunch at the Alpine Inn which was definitely the best meal of our trip."
Secluded, Rustic Log Cabin located in the Heart of the Black Hills near Custer
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely, quiet location with deer frolicking. The cabin was a great home base for exploring the Black Hills. The quiet nights and mornings were amazing. Nice patio for morning coffee, grilling, and a fire pit under the stars. Some of the doorways in the historic cabin require care for those over 6' tall. Bonk! Would highly recommend if you like peace and a natural setting away from town."
"We loved the location of this property. It was off the road enough to feel very private, but very easy drive to town or other attractions. The kitchen was well equipped. We had a small issue with moths in the bathrooms. "
"We had an amazing time at this property! It was clean, comfortable, and remote without being too far removed from the Custer amenities. The view from the back porch was stunning and just what we needed to relax at the end of our daily adventures :) We definitely recommend and would stay again if we travel to the area again!"
