"Wonderful lodge for our family! Property staff were friendly and accommodating. Other guests were also kind and inviting. Environment was very family-friendly. Love the location, far enough out for forestry/nature vibes but not too far it took forever to travel to town. Nearby to many attractions too! Would definitely book again if taking a future trip! "

"Check in was smooth and room was clean with two queen bed. We were three adults, it was just nice. We stayed one night on our way to Seattle. It is a cheap and nice place for overnight stay."
"A most wonderful stay with Andrea & Adam at Sweetgrass. They are down to earth and super-friendly; and dang it if they don't serve the BEST steak tips and eggs ever!!! The room was clean, cozy and comfortable. We were in need of nothing while there. They are new owners that took over a little over a year ago and are making everything about the place better. Breakfast is in the restaurant that is part of the property and it was all good and plentiful. There was bottled water in the mini fridge...
"Loved it. A couple of suggestions are:
1- the fire alarms have strobe lights that would have kept us awake had we not put dark tape over them.
2- The lighting is a harsh LED that needs to soften. The room needs lighting that is more incandescent. Also a lamp by the love seat would would give some light to that end of the room.
Otherwise a very pleasant stay! Loved the pillows!"
"Clean room, indoor pool and hot tub which means it is more likely to be open year round, can be noisy if your room window faces the pool, okay for dogs with a dog area behind the building on the pool side, better than average breakfast, nice coffee/decaf/tea station with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, friendly lobby and breakfast staff."

"Loved the quaint accommodation. If you’re looking to get away from everything this is the place. You anre only a few minutes from town and Mount Rushmore.
There is a playground for the kids and an outdoor fireplace for those cool evenings"
"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Not a new luxury hotel, but clean, quiet, comfortable, and close to and convenient to everything in Keystone, Custer State Park, the Badlands, Rapid City etc. at a very reasonable price. Left us with more money to do things in the area! All guests were convivial and host was awesome.
