"We visited the first week in May 2026. The first room they gave us, on the ground floor, had a window with a broken lock. The room also had poor lighting. They moved us to another room on the ground floor. The window locked but the door wouldn’t latch or lock reliably. The third room was fine. One of the staff said they just “took back the hotel” and were getting to know it. It definitely needs maintenance. The hot tub was in a separate building. We didn’t use it. The breakfast was limited to tiny danishes and dry cereal."

"A great property and a great location for us four over-70 siblings and our families for a long-delayed reunion. Centrally-located in the Hills, we woke each day and cooked breakfast for a large crew in the well-appointed kitchen, then did our tourist things the rest of the day. Also, a great property to come home to after driving around the Black Hills, to rest and recap our daily events. Highly recommended. Host manager Chuck was excellent as well - friendly and with good advice for local shopping/dining/etc."

"Relaxing and quiet stay. I uaually dont eat breakfast at hotels but I woke up and had breakfast every morning. It was that good! The staff were very friendly and welcoming too. No complaints other than the large stain in the bathtub which I knew probably cant be removed with regular cleaner. May be time for an update in certain areas but a good quality stay for the price."

"The hotel was very clean and well kept. Our room was comfortable and everything worked. The jacuzzi was relaxing and the shower spray great! We also loved the pool and hot tub! Parking was very convenient as well. We will definitely stay there again!"
