"Very nicely presented and well equipped two bedroom property. Provided excellent base for the week including days out in York and surrounding areas. WiFi was excellent and good to have a washing machine and tumble dryer. Hosts very amenable although very little need for interaction."

"The cottage was gorgeous, in a lovely quiet location and parking at the back. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We only stayed a night but it had almost everything you'd need for a stay. A bit of soap in the bathroom and teatowel/towel and washing up liquid in the kitchen with some milk for a cuppa when you arrive would have made it perfect. "The property was nicely finished and whilst small, we knew that and it was perfect for our family of 3. The living and kitchen area is one space but the high ceiling helps give it a sense of size. The area the cottage is located in, the grounds of Middlethorpe Manor and hotel are nice too. The cleaners were still there when we arrived 45 minutes after our started arrival time. Luckily they were nearly finished so we didn't have to wait long. But whilst the property seemed superficially clean,...
