"The Helaina is a very high standard of bed and breakfast property. We stayed in a Premium Double room on the top floor. The room was very spacious with an excellent bathroom/shower. This room is reached by 6 flights of stairs of varying lengths (it is on the 3rd floor), so not for the infirm or those with heavy luggage. "We loved it here, room had a gorgeous view and the family room wa spacious. Bunk bed was a bit creakky (but our kids were probably too big for them really.) Fab locations for the northbay side where there is lots to do. Breakfast was AMAZING! "

"2 night stay in a single room. I arrived well before check in time so the room was not ready. I needed to change clothes and freshen up and the hostess really went out of her way to facilitate this. It was therefore a great check in. The room was perfect size with an ensuite shower and toilet. The shower was very good. Hot and powerful. Its so disappointing to have a bad shower, so full marks!! "Easy to see why this property gets such amazing reviews! Lots of parking right outside (ensure to request a virtual parking permit in advance) - fabulously clean, room with an incredibly comfy bed (really important to both of us due to back issues). Shared bathroom no issues, spotless and no waits even tho the property was fully booked. Breakfast absolutely fantastic, people lovely, and a very short walk to the city walls thru the park.
