"Very nice Japanese traditional style hotel. The location is great, close to the sight-seeing bus line and to the cable car lift. The bath is great, with good views on the 7th floor. it is a pity the room we had doesn't have a view though. The staff are nice, very polite. They also provide car service to and from the Fujikawaguchiko Station, which is nice!"

"We nicknamed the place The Japanese Grand Budapest Hotel. It’s a little worn down but has a lot of history and charm. The staff are lovely, the breakfast is huge and traditional, the bath and sauna are nice and relaxing, and it’s well located. Not modern and fancy but I would recommend."

"Kaiseki meals were great! It is a must try if you stay here. I would suggest to contact the property to request an upgrade (with not too expensive extra pay) before your stay. It is well worthy it. Hot spring experience is also good but for outsider with bigger body build, the XL size yukata is kind of small. They should prepare a few 2XL or 3XL for foreign visitors"
