This hotel is located just 15-20 mins by boat from the airport. The island is small enough to be intimate but large enough to go for a long good walk. And if you don't feel like walking they have golf carts to shuttle you around! I like that we had a many dinning options, but I will say I was a bit disappointed with both fine dining restaurants. The service is great, but the food in terms of taste is not in line with what you pay. I do think both Baan Thai and Sea salt could be a bit better. ...

Kurumba was just amazing. From the check-in process to checking out, everything was flawless. They made the speedboat from the airport effortless. They greeted us with delectable coconut sherbet. It was really cool to be able to watch the stingrays pass-by from your room and to be able to go snorkeling right from your room. The candle-light dinner by the beach was an amazing experience. We started by doing the "All Inclusive" plan the first day but quickly realized that the regular meal option worked way better for us.

Good for a stay.

Like many people staying over in the Male area, we arrived on a flight in the late evening and needed a place to stay before we flew to the main resort we had booked for our vacation in the Maldives. From the moment we landed in Malé to the time we left the island, the hospitality and friendliness of the staff was very welcoming. Our Hostess made sure that every little detail had been taken care. The sunset villa was ideal for our stay. The 4 visits to Elena Spa during our stay was ideal after having been couped up inside a metal tube for over 14 hours. Great Resort, unbeatable location and wonderful staff. We had the best time of our life over the 8 days spent in the hotel just last week. Could not ask for more. Staff is so friendly, amenities are amazing and management makes you wish all hotels were this well managed. Although quite a distance from the Pacific Northwest, we may consider visiting the Maldives again and staying at Baros.

Our honeymoon adventure with Ocean Grande was great, had really good time. Staff was very caring always there to comfort you with all possible means. Never had that kind of stay in any of US hotels that I went to in this limited budget. I should here mention Sudhar (Manager) and Anandhu (house keeping) made our stay of week so special, can not forget it. I have captured most of those wonderful memories. Fantastic snorkelling! Plenty of excursions if you wanted them, and only 25 minutes from the airport by speed boat, super polite and helpful staff!

The resort was great ! Great service , food , nice and clean rooms . Keep in mind all the hiding taxes . We paid extra $ 80.00 “GREEN taxes “ because we stayed 5 days . Plus city taxes plus service taxes

We enjoy so much Hanoi, the hotel has an excellent location, the staff is very nice and helpful. Many shops and restaurants around, everything is a walking distance. We will stay there again.

All the staff are incredibly kind and courteous. Airport transit was flawless, and very easy. Stayed in the Samaan Suite. Bed was comfortable. Had room service every night, so the food is definitely reliable, they also ask about dietary restrictions at check in, and were happy to make dishes according to our needs.
