"The cleaner did a ok job, I would suggest wiping the walls down as well I would highly suggest taking out the paper towels and adding a broom or some swiffers . I have never been to any rental where a broom/vaccum wasnt available. The logic should be if people want dry hands they can buy paper towels. But a broom is a necessity to keeping the apt clean. Especiall6 of its pet/kid friemdly no one wants to buy a broom on vacation. "

"It was nice to have a clean, modern place to stay that is walking distance to Brookland, where my daughter lives. Hotels are not close to her so this was an excellent alternative. Modern appliances, great shower, and comfortable bed were a definite plus. The building and apartment are secure with codes locks. "

"When on vacation, location is important. And Reviews are important! This listing has 2 reviews only and there were no comments, so I feel it is important to be accurate here. While this listing boasts of it's close distance to various DC attractions, it is in a neighborhood and on a street corner that did not make me or my family feel safe. There are people lined up all along the street from noon well into the hours past midnight. We happened to be there during the week of July 4th so fireworks...

"The property was clean, and well located for metro. The beds were comfortable, the lights next to bed were innovative. Needs more plates for food, there wasn't one comfortable seat in the place."

"For the price, the place was not great. Limited kitchen supplies (ex. only 4 cups, no can opener). Not particularly clean. Noisy from traffic noise, mattresses too soft, and not a great neighborhood. "

"The loft was clean and met all of our needs. We did not have enough towels upon check in. IM'd PM, but with no response, called in the morning. The problem was remedied quickly.Our primary concern was that unbeknownst to us the loft was a 4th floor walk-up and the master bedroom was an additional 2 more flights. With a lot of luggage and 2 people over 70, this became a bit more than a minor problem. Without having ADA accessibility, we probably would have stayed elsewhere. "

"Super cute property, had all essentials and the host, Benjamin, was very responsive and helpful. A couple of notes: the stairs are a bit steep and both bathrooms are upstairs so use caution for young children or those with mobility issues. Overall a positive experience. "

"Home was clean, easy to find parking, and convenient to public transit via street car that runs to Union Station frequently. The host was very responsive when expressing needs or issues. We traveled with two senior citizens who struggled with the walk up to the 4th floor apartment. I live in NYC and not much makes me uncomfortable but the immediate corner has some folks outside day and night doing some sketchy business. That said, no one bothered us and I would return to this property as it was...
