"At first glance the hotel looked cleaned and maintained once the check-in process was completed the strong smell of cigarette and marijuana clouded the hallways. The smell of smoke was insufferable in the room. We had to request new bedding as the comforter had cigarette burns and the sheet was torn. The staff bought us another that had the same issues. The pillow cases looked dirty and dingy and the pillows flat. We were awoken at 6 am by someone having a conversation right outside our room door and was screaming at the top of his lungs this went on for hours and no staff came to intervene. When we were leaving for check out the man was charging his phone right outside our room door; not sure why since our room had multiple places to charge your phone. 0/10 experience."

"Shout out to the front desk staff, Vincent, Ariel, Allan, Alexa and Miriam at the breakfast buffet For doing such a stellar job Jeannine the night auditor god bless her soul! For our stay at this hotel she was our saving grace. I am in the hospitality industry and I can tell you that when working a unique position that juggles an analytical mindset with consummate professionalism.; the lines between systemic computer software and just being humane get blurred. Jeannine was able to go above and beyond and rectify an issue with a third party app that was my own mistake. The amount of empathy, compassion and intelligence that Jeannine displayed makes me wonder why the Marriot hasn’t put her in a management position. As the Event Operations Manager for Leonard’s Palazzo down the road I will speak to the general manager/ banquet manger and work out a reciprocal arrangement for our wedding guests when they need a block of rooms "

"My husband and I had a great stay! Within walking distance to the LIRR! Staff was amazing and accommodated my early check in! The property itself was fine but we noticed someone tried to break into our car Friday night! Other than that we had a great stay!"

"Positives: easy to get to, free and easy parking, front desk is staffed all night Negatives: room was musty, stains and burn marks on bedding and counters, floor, walls, bathroom, microwave was beyond dirty, other guests were outside smoking cigarettes and weed late into the evening and early in the AM, did not feel safe being there."

"The staff was super helpful, breakfast was a good add on, the rooms were clean, the heat was turned off for the building a bit early but they are an older building and had space heaters for each room and extra blankets. Staff was nice to bring up deliveries if needed and there was nice lemon water available and bottle waters and coffee, the mini fridge was in good condition. It had ample and clean parking. Would stay again!"
