"The hospitality shown by Jeanette and Steve was great. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was plentiful and there was ample parking. The walk into the town was around 10/15 minutes and the bus stop to Pen-Y-Pass car park for the Pyg/Miners track was literally just outside the door - £7 each return. "From start to finish we were made to feel very welcome and at home. Colin was always attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay trouble free. "We had a great time, and really appreciated our incredibly helpful hosts, David and Chris. Breakfasts were delicious, with several options available, and "to go" sandwiches on the morning we took off before breakfast. The old home (manor?) that the B&B occupies is beautiful, and located a few blocks south of the more active part of town, so it's nice and quiet. But it still provides easy access to restaurants, the train station, and the Sherpa stops. "
