From the moment we arrived, every detail made us feel genuinely welcomed — from the complimentary champagne at check-in to the bikes available to borrow. Our room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully appointed. The location in the Historic District couldn’t be better — we could walk everywhere: the waterfront, art galleries, great restaurants, and all the hidden cobblestone alleys that make Charleston so special. Every staff member we met was warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The breakfast and evening wine and cheese reception were both lovely bonuses that made us feel more like guests in someone’s elegant home than in a hotel. We will definitely be back on future trips to Charleston."

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Palmetto hotel. The location is walking distance from most popular tourist sites and exceptional restaurants. The staff was polite and helpful. We rented a car so that we could take a couple day trips while we were there and there is a valet conveniently located in the building. The breakfast was adequate and we had a little bite there every morning. If we ever return to Charleston, there is no question that we'd stay at this same hotel. I could not give it a higher recommendation. "
