"We arrived at The Scarlet Pearl around 4 PM and had some initial check-in confusion through Expedia, but the VIP staff quickly resolved it and moved us to a non-smoking room on a different floor. The room was beautiful, everything worked perfectly, and the harbor view was amazing. The hotel has a nice pool area, and mini golf is available on weekends with a free round and $20 slot play if you have a player’s card. Parking was easy and convenient. Most staff were just “doing their job,” but the VIP desk staff and the casino desk clerk were exceptionally helpful. Unfortunately, the bartender at the bar was very rude and inattentive, which made playing video poker there frustrating. Pros: beautiful rooms, great views, pool, mini golf, helpful VIP/casino staff, convenient parking. Cons: initial check-in confusion, some staff disengaged, bar service very slow/rude. Overall, once we were in the right room, our stay was enjoyable, though inconsistent service affected parts of the experience."
