"The hotel is definitely dated. The head boards were peeling. The room Was clean and the bed was comfy. Walking distance to restaurants"

"I stayed at a Sonesta in another city and had a great experience, but not this one, rooms were not cleaned well, stains on the wall, AC unit was missing parts and could see piles of dirt in it, the hard floors were sticky , the carpets were dirty, when I opened the sofa bed, dirt, food crumbs and other trash were on the lumpy mattress, TV had not connection and the maintenanceperson was not aroundfor the days I stayed, missing remotes, hair dryer and no bedding for the sofa bed. Most of the doors slammed closed very hard, almost crushed my dogs head, luckily I put my foot there to stop the door. I could hear the other rooms using the bathroom, I would go on but running out of characters. I thought Sonesta would be a good place to stay because my family and I stayed in one almost a year long looking for our house. Also with all the time I stayed in a Sonesta, though I should of gotten free room for a month, I guess my points are only good for a year. Well I would recommend the Sonesta in CoS, but I heard they closed or sold the property. I should of taken more photos but was so disgusted and had to clean it up right away, but the photos are the last day before checkout"

"When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk. It took 15 minutes and a phone call to the corporate office for someone to show up. She was out in the parking lot cleaning up glass. In her defense, she can't be in two places at the same time. There should have been a second staff member on the property to assist with maintenance issues. When we got to our room, it smelled of smoke and I requested another room, which was accommodated right away. Overall, the property had good amenities, breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. My only suggestion is to make sure it is properly staffed to work through those moments when something happens. It won't pull the front desk staff from doing their job."

Comfort Inn & Suites Golden – Denver West

"Check-in was extended because the desk attendant was training and didn't know how charge for a dog. There was long dark hair all over our linens and towels. We had no facial tissues or an extra roll of toilet paper. We only had three sets of towels and there were 5 of us staying there. Even the default setting should have been 4. There was no additional bedding for the pullout bed aside from a hairy pillow. There were crusty stains all over the carpet. So gross. The 2nd night our toilet clogged and when we asked for a plunger the front desk attendant told us we would need to MOVE ROOMS because the maintenance closet was locked. But, as soon as my white husband complained suddenly he remembered where to find one. We asked for more blankets and they didn't have any. Friday morning breakfast a lot of foods were not replenished leaving very few options to actually eat anything. The elevator was Sus. It made weird noises and shook when you stepped in. They did let us extend for a late noon checkout. So, cool."

Hampton Inn Denver West Federal Center

4/10 Poor

"Arrived at the hotel and there was no power. Elevators didn’t work the whole time. There are 6 floors. Everyone had to walk the stairs. I assisted in helping elderly guests with their luggage. I didn’t gwt a key to my room until late in the evening. Breakfast was not good either. The staff did their best to keep people happy. I will never stay at a Hampton Inn again. I asked if they were giving refunds or any compensation for the terrible experience. I would told I could grab extra snacks from the store. Just avoid this place. The room was clean."
