Excellent hotel/resort and very friendly/professional staff. We stayed at the Mountain Thunder lodge off-peak season at Breckenridge (Nov 30 - Dec2), so admittedly the resort was quieter than usual, but we were automatically upgraded to a larger (2-bed) room upon check-in and felt extremely welcome. Simba Run was great property to stay at during our time in Vail. Could use a little more safety by keeping the entry doors from the garage into the property locked especially at night. Though there was a double lock, staying right off the elevator and by an exit door felt like we needed a little extra security like a cross bar on our unit door. The entire unit was clean and very spacious for us. Very affordable for an offseason stay.
