"Our stay at this house was absolutely lovely. The house wasn't perfect or too modern, so don't go here if you're expecting to find too much luxury in the house. However, this property has left us nothing to wish for. The area is beautiful and the view was amazing. "The host was lovely, however, the property smelt very strongly of tobacco and/or marijuana causing an asthma attack (despite being non-smoking). The property is not private as the host’s Mother resides downstairs and there are curtains missing from the windows etc. Having read positive reviews by other guests we were excited to stay at this property, however, had to leave within 20 mins of arrival and check into hotel based on smell. "Absolutely beautiful outlook from outdoor dining area. Very well equipped kitchen with lots of utensils that are usually missing from holiday let properties. The stairs are slightly difficult for younger children to handle (eg 2 years and under). Local village of Fourcès has a great restaurant - make sure you book it was very popular. Local vineyard also great. Owner was very happy to host us and patient with our slow French."
