"A lovely venue with friendly staff, in a perfect location. Lovely and relaxing which is exactly what I needed. So much to do locally too, perfect excuse to come back to explore the local area further."

"Lovely hotel. When arriving the staff were friendly and helpful as we were there hours before check in. The rooms are basic with toiletries but very clean . Alcohol was reasonability priced as we expected higher prices due to it being a wedding venue. For the price with breakfast and free parking it was spot on. We was able to leave the car and get a uber into York which was between £15-£20. Would definitely stay again. "

"A long weekend away. Beautiful and very old building. Good history provived about it. We stayed in a superior room and it was huge. Breakfast was very good with good quality ingredients. Staff friendly and very helpful."

"Loved the character of inside the building. It is having redecoration done but didnt intrude with stay. The room was enough and had a lovely picturesque view. The room did get very warm during the night but we judt opened the window a little. Breakfast buffet was well organised and really good. The dining room setting was really nice."

"I was a solo traveller, my 2 dogs accompanied me. I was absolutely blown away by the hotel, absolutey immaculate, the decor was beautiful, oak & brass. The hotel looked like it had recently been refurbished. I enjoyed a lovely walk into Whitby. The breakfast was the best ive had. The service and friendliness of the staff made me feel at ease. I really cant wait to go back. I've told so many friends and family about this place. Its my new favourite. "

"I recently enjoyed a weekend with my entire family at Guisborough Hall. The complex arrangements - including wheelchair access, adjoining rooms, dog friendly space and special meals - were faultlessly delivered by the friendly and attentive staff. The hall sits in it's own exceptionally well maintained grounds - perfect for an evening stroll and easy parking. The rooms were spacious, quiet, maintained to a high standard and extremely well serviced. Dinner was superb and the choices for breakfast were amazing. Guisborough Hall met our every expectation and I would have no hesitation in recommending it as one of the finest country hall hotels - anywhere."
