"Elevator was out all three nights I was there. I was told when I checked it would be fixed that day. Maybe something serious was wrong with it but was never told. You could hear other people talking in other floors until after midnight. Had to get up early when I was there so that wasn’t good. The staff was great and it was nice having a 24 hr desk. "

"Spa was not a spa, a tired swimming pool no access to any other facilities without paying more. How on earth this has won awards us beyond me. Lifts were horrific- card system meant waiting up to 20 minutes to simply go downstairs. Breakfast was great and most of the staff were friendly and helpful, some very poor greetings at breakfast by female employees who could not be bothered and challenged me on my room number ‘ stating I must be wrong’. Turned out she had mistyped- no apology just a moody point to a table to sit at. Male employees at the front were great and mini bus driver were excellent."

"Clean rooms. Welcoming Reception Area and staff. Dining room had a huge selection for breakfast (did not have any other meals there). Ideally located 15+ mins from the town square and to the Oriente Train station. "

"Hotel in excellent location within walking distance of the airport. Very quiet clean comfortable room. Excellent early breakfast. Restaurant serves delicious meals. Friendly staff. Highly recommended if you need to be at the airport."

"Breakfest was great"

"Rooftop bar and snack shack were a treat. Rooftop outdoor pool is a good size but wasn’t heated so we couldn’t enjoy it during our April stay. That said, we did take advantage of the poolside lounge chairs to relax in the sun. With so many restaurants and cafes in the area, we chose to have our breakfast elsewhere so can’t speak to the quality. Most importantly, our room was spacious, modern, comfortable and clean."

"This gem was hidden in the city, the area was bustling and the property felt an escape from the city rush. There is a speakeasy on the property that felt like it came straight out of the 80s…such a good time…. One word of advice for the black ppl that plan to visit, bring your own wash cloths."
